Drake, however, was not content to let the moment pass. At a Super Bowl game night, Drake made his first bold move by inviting Alyvia to a Colter Wall concert. While she loved the music, Alyvia politely declined, there was simply no way she was getting into a car with someone she barely knew. Drake took it in stride, and the story has since become one of their favorites to laugh about. About a month later, they found themselves out to dinner with friends, sharing openly about life and personal struggles. In a quiet but meaningful moment, Drake offered his support and gave Alyvia his phone number, telling her she could reach out if she ever needed someone to talk to. His timing, and delivery, still make them smile. Two weeks later, Alyvia finally reached out. What started as a simple conversation turned into a three-hour drive filled with laughter, honesty, and the realization of just how much they had in common. They talked about where they grew up, childhood memories, their shared love for old country music like Colter Wall and Hank Williams Jr., and most importantly, their deep love for Jesus. Music and faith quickly became the foundation of their connection. Drake knew what he wanted and pursued it wholeheartedly. After only a few times spending time together, he asked Alyvia to be his girlfriend, and she happily said yes. From that moment on, their relationship grew into something intentional, genuine, and deeply rooted in faith.
