Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love for our guests to get dressed up with us, so we ask everyone to dress in formal dress attire. Our venue does not allow jeans of any sort, so please dress accordingly. The only color we ask you to avoid wearing is white/cream (White dress shirts for men are perfectly okay). If you wish to look cohesive with our wedding colors you may choose to wear colors along the lines of yellow, orange, peach, maroon, navy blue, or dusty blue (This is not required by any means).

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones our venue unfortunately does not accommodate children outside of the wedding party. We are working for a solution to this so that your little ones may still travel with you if you wish but be taken care of during the wedding. Thank you for your understanding!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our goal is to keep our very special day as intimate as possible, we are choosing to celebrate with only our closest family and friends. All plus ones will be specifically included in your formal invite. It will also be listed under your name when you RSVP through the website. We appreciate you understanding.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our wedding event begins at 4:00pm with the ceremony beginning promptly at 4:15pm. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before our given time to give yourself plenty of time to find a place to sit. If you are late we ask that you wait for the ceremony to finish instead of interrupting.

What if I have special dietary needs?

Answer

Please reach out to the bride at (816)888-1858 to notify of any allergies or other dietary needs.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

If you are able to RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation, that would be extremely helpful! We ask that you RSVP no later than September 1, 2025. After that, unfortunately, any unanswered invites will have to be marked at "not attending" due to our vendors' cut off dates.

Where are you registered?

Answer

Although your presence is the best gift we could receive, we realize that some of you would like to know about a physical gift. Right here on our wedding website is the easiest way to access all of our registries in one place. Through Zola we have a registry and we also have one linked through Amazon.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, our venue provides a valet service as well!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course! We ask that all guests please drink responsibly and do not drive if you plan on drinking. Please make arrangements for a safe ride. We can't wait to celebrate accordingly!

Do you have a hotel block somewhere?

Answer

We decided to not book a hotel block as there has been more interest expressed in AirBnb and Vrbo.

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes the entirety of the wedding is outside. (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception)
