We met on a Sunday. It was early football season. My Aunt and Uncle hosted football Sundays every weekend and had family and friends over. This lucky Sunday we both touched down to watch the game and met for the first time. After that Sunday neither of us missed a football Sunday. Our friensdhip grew over bantering about sports teams, nachos and playful teasing. We lived a few towns apart and only saw eachother on the weekend for football. Several months later we went on our first date to see a movie. After that we spent every weekend together. Come Friday the work day couldn’t end fast enough. More dates to the movies, amusement park adventures, trips to the lake and of course more football Sundays.
