Moynihan Train Hall
You can take the Amtrak from Moynihan Hall (across from Penn Station) to Poughkeepsie Station. The Amtrak has bathrooms and a snack car where they typically serve alcohol; you should arrive in Poughkeepsie in just under an hour and a half. We recommend booking your train tickets in advance as time slots sell out.**

Grand Central Terminal
From Grand Central Station you can take the Metro North to Poughkeepsie. This takes a little longer than the Amtrak but runs almost every half hour. The Metro North does not have a snack bar but they allow open containers throughout so you can BYOB (115 minutes vs 95 minutes). We recommend booking your train tickets in advance as time slots sell out.**
