The Battery
See the homes along the famous Charleston Battery, a defensive seawall and promenade in the Charleston Historic District. Along the way you will see what is commonly referred to as “rainbow row.” This colorful street of houses is one of Charleston’s most iconic historical sites, filled with brightly painted 18th-century homes. Afterwards, take a leisurely stroll or even a carriage tour through the cobblestone streets of another historic area, King Street.
Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge
One of the essential elements of the Charleston skyline is the Ravenel Bridge. Completed in 2005, this famous structure connects the historic downtown district to the town of Mount Pleasant. It is a beautiful spot for a walk or bike ride!
Middleton Place
Middleton Place National Historic Landmark is home to America’s oldest and most important landscaped gardens. First granted in 1675, the historic site today encompasses 110 acres including the gardens, house museum and stable yards.

Day to trips to any of the local beachfront towns should be on your itinerary. Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms or Folly Beach are all great options!
