We're Getting Married!

Like so many modern love stories, ours began on the apps. What started with a swipe quickly turned into discovering unexpected things we had in common, enough to take us from our first date to our second the very next night. We bonded over our shared love of music, spending many of the early days together at concerts and shows. Then when COVID hit, we made the most of staying in, walking the quiet streets of Old Town Scottsdale, Matt DJ’ing in the living room, and Katie beating Matt’s behind at Jeopardy. In 2021, we decided to make the plunge to move in together. Living under the same roof has brought us even closer, whether we’re working remotely just a room apart or planning our next adventure. Over the years, we’ve traveled near and far, but Vegas, conveniently nearby for us, has become one of our favorite spots for seeing our favorite DJs, playing a little blackjack, and making unforgettable memories. On what turned out to be our tenth trip there together, Matt was acting a little suspicious, though Katie assumed it was just stress after she realized she had forgotten her ID at home. Just a few short hours later, she was standing on the balcony at The Cosmopolitan overlooking the Bellagio fountains when Matt proposed. It was private, perfect, and exactly how we wanted to start this next chapter together.
