OBX Traffic
Just as a heads up, you may experience traffic driving up the Outer Banks (crossing the Wright Memorial Bridge and driving north to Corolla) at peak hours on Saturday or Sunday, as most of the houses in the area check-in/check-out on these days. We love the OBX because it's small & quaint but that means the roads are small & quaint as well :)

Norfolk, Virginia (ORF) is the closest commercial airpot to the Outer Banks 90 miles - 2 hours Coastal Carolina Airport (EWN) 170 miles - 3 hours 15 min Richmond, Virginia (RIC) 175 miles - 3 hours 20 min Raleigh-Durham International Airport is a larger airport hub 235 miles - 4 hours

Housing Rentals in the Area
There are several housing rental options to explore for this weekend! If you're staying for more than 1-2 nights and have the opportunity to share a house with others, this is likely the more cost effective route! AirBNB, VRBO, Vacasa, Village Realty OBX, Beach Realty, Southern Shores Realty have more flexible check-in/check-out dates. Some rental companies (IE: Twiddy, Corolla Classic Vacations, Sun Realty NC) have a 1 week minimum stay We would suggest searching houses near The Currituck Club (where the reception is) if you want to be in close proximity to the reception. Otherwise, Duck (15 minutes south) is a cute beach-town area with more shops & restaurants if you want to be near a little more hustle & bustle!
