FAQs

Question

Will there be a wedding ceremony?

Answer

We have chosen to have a small, private ceremony before the reception with just family and a few close friends. We would love for everyone to join us in celebrating afterwards at our wedding reception.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We're recommending a semi-formal dress code. The reception will be held in an open-air pavilion and the surrounding area. Dress with the weather in mind and remember you might have to walk through some grass in the springtime.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Our wedding is in a very special spot. The event is not the main park of Watkins Glen State Park but at the campgrounds located up the hill. Take Old Corning Road up the hill, turn right on Walnut, and then another right into the campgrounds. We are at the Iroquois Lodge. When you enter the campgrounds through the main entrance, turn left at the big brick building and continue straight until you see the signs. Take a left into the parking lot to reach the venue. Question

Am I able to bring my children?

Answer

Absolutely! We would love to celebrate with your whole family—children are more than welcome to join us on our special day. There is a playground right next to the pavilion and we will be providing lawn and board games for everyone.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Absolutely! We will be providing some snacks, dinner, and dessert throughout the course of the night, as well as drinks (including lots of coffee!!!)

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

We have linked our Venmo for our honeymoon funds, as well as our Amazon registry here on Zola.

Question

Is there a rain date?

Answer

The reception will be held in a pavilion, rain or shine. If the weather permits, we will also offer picnic blankets in addition to the picnic tables.
