1) as you'll see below, there are currently no shuttles that can get guests from the Ferry to the Clearwater Casino, so walk-ons are strongly not advised 2) For guests staying one night, Saturday June 26: Clearwater Casino has informed us that you can try to check into your room as early as 2:00-2:30, however you are not guaranteed a room until 4:00 PM. The shuttles will start taking guests down to the venue starting at 4:00 PM on, so you may want to arrive at the casino mostly dressed/ready as you may not have a ton of time to get ready before the 4:00 Welcome hour/5:00 ceremony 3) Ladies - the grass can be a little "sinky" so you may want shoes that sink less. Also a comfortable change of flip flops for the dance floor is HIGHLY encouraged! 4) Keep an eye on ferry wait times, you will likely have to line up for it much earlier than you're trying to catch it (example if you're trying to catch the 1:15, you want to show up significantly earlier than 1:15)
Walk on; CAUTION: THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO CASINO SHUTTLES RUNNING to bring on-foot passengers from the Ferry to the Casino. Walk-on's are not advised as taxis on the other side are very limited and show up sporadically - please drive and catch the downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island, no later than 1:15 PM. Driving: Catch the ferry from downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island, no later than 1:15 PM. Keep an eye on ferry wait times as you will have to line up in advance; https://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/vesselwatch/TerminalDetail.aspx?terminalid=7 Drive off the ferry 10 mins to the Clearwater Casino (15347 Suquamish Way NE, Suquamish, WA 98392) and park in their free lot. Once drivers and/or walk ons reach the casino; Check in with the front desk and they will point you in the direction of the complimentary shuttles that will take regular 10 minute trips to and from the venue. Shuttles will be parked outside the main entrance starting at 4:00 PM to get guests down to the wedding.
The shuttles will be parked outside the main entrance of the Clearwater Casino at 4:00. To find from inside the casino, simply ask where the "Dispatch Window" is, located right outside the casino doors and near the Security desk. This will get you outside to the main round-a-bout where the shuttle will be waiting. It's only a 38 passenger shuttle, but it will be making regular 10 minute round trips so don't worry if you don't get on the first one. Masks are required for the shuttle ride but we are very pleased to say that you may take them off when you arrive at Kiana!!
As mentioned above, both cars and walk-ons should catch the 1;15 ferry at the latest, you'll want some time to take the 30-35 minute sailing trip, head to the Casino, and then take the additional shuttle to the venue. The Bainbridge Island Ferry is operating at a lower capacity this summer due to switching their fleet out with smaller ships, please keep that in mind and check ferry wait times as you will have to line up well in advance to catch the 1:15. The festivities begin at 4:00, most likely car drivers will need to arrive to the ferry terminal sooner than walk-ons, as there can be long wait times for cars in the summer. To check the wait times, refer here; https://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/vesselwatch/TerminalDetail.aspx?terminalid=7
Yes, it is much easier (and free) to park at the Clearwater Casino, as Kiana Lodge has very limited parking that we are reserving for vendors and our elderly guests. Please park at Clearwater and check in at the front desk, they will let you know where the shuttles are that get you to Kiana Lodge and back.
For the shuttle from the Bainbridge Ferry Dock to Clearwater Casino: PLEASE NOTE - FERRY TO CASINO SHUTTLES ARE CLOSED. Drive-on is required. Walk-ons will not have transportation from the ferry to the casino. For the shuttle from Clearwater Casino to Kiana Lodge (the venue): No, the shuttle is complimentary and leaves to and from the Clearwater Casino every 10 minutes starting at the main entrance to the casino, there is no need to reserve. Typically they run on the weekends until about 12:30 AM, but the best place to check for accurate updates/potential delays is https://www.wsdot.com/ferries/schedule/scheduledetailbyroute.aspx?route=sea-bi
Yes, but it's a long drive around the peninsula! We recommend keeping track of the ferry schedule and wait times for both walk-ons and car passengers.
We want you to be comfortable especially with the warm weather - summer "cocktail" is appropriate ; light suits, collared shirts, sundresses, etc. Whatever makes you happy and lets you move around and dance!
