Our love story is about to take off—next stop forever!

First of all we would like to give a shout-out to Tavia, aka the matchmaker. Without her, our soon-to-be union would never be possible. It started off as a FaceTime call when Tavia was traveling, then numbers were exchanged, and then the LDR (long-distance relationship) began. Rahime and Nickailla officially met when Rahime came to NYC on a work trip, and their relationship has been a roller coaster ever since. Their first date was to Times Square and dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. During this trip, Rahime also met Nickailla's family and they fell in love with him too. Rahime and Nickailla have done a lot of traveling to make their relationship work like a trip to Grand Cayman, Orlando, Jamaica, and New York. Distance could never keep them apart. But Traveling was never the issue since they both work for JetBlue. In February of 2024, Nickailla and Rahime welcomed their joyful little boy Nahime into the world which drove them to jet forward with this major step in their relationship.

That is what most people would like to know. Nickailla and Nahime went to Jamaica to spend time with Rahime and ring in the new year and Rahime did just that. He and Nickailla went to watch the fireworks on Palisadoes Road,New Years Eve. Once the clock had hit 12 and the fireworks started they had gotten out the car. Rahime tricked Nickailla with a broken necklace telling her that he wanted to put on the necklace. When Nickailla turned around for Rahime to put on the necklace he told her it was broken and when Nickailla turned around there was the ring. Before Rahime could even ask the question Nickailla hand bumped the ring out of his hand and it had fallen onto the ground in the dark. It was just laughter between the two as they had their phone lights looking on the ground for the ring. They found it, and here we are planning for the special date.....5/25/25.
