Want to see some long horns and really feel like you are in Texas? Check out the Fort Worth Stock Yards. Don't forget lunch at Joe T. Garcia's. Cash only but the margaritas are worth the trip!

Located close to the Omni Dallas Hotel, this is a great option for Tex-Mex. The building is over 100 years old, and a frequent stop after church on Sundays.
AT&T Stadium
Everything is bigger in Texas! Tour of the iconic stadium of the Dallas Cowboys (advance booking recommended), marvel at the giant TV screen inside, walk on the field (pitch), and buy some merchandise from the gift store. Make a day of it in Arlington and check out the newly opened 'Texas Live' complex.

SMU swim team favorite dive bar back in the day. Lower expectations and post up with a pitcher of light beer and some quarters for pool.
