Flight
For our out-of-town guests, we recommend that you fly into Denver International Airport, as it is the closest large airport to Estes Park. With no traffic, it will take at least an hour and a half to drive from the airport to Estes Park. Estes Park is a small mountain town, and there are very limited public transportation options. You won't be able to find ride shares, like Uber or Lyft, and there is only one taxi car that drives at night. We recommend that you rent a car for your trip. However, if you are not planning on renting a car, there are companies, such as the Estes Park Shuttle Company (https://www.estesparkshuttle.com/) who offer transportation from the airport to Estes Park and back. Reservations are required at least one week in advance.
Shuttle
August 20, 2021 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
We have arranged for shuttles to take guests between downtown Estes Park and the ceremony/reception venue. The shuttles will pick up and drop off at The Ridgeline Hotel and The Stanley Hotel. To go to the ceremony: First shuttle leaves at 3:00 PM. Last shuttle departs at 3:35 PM. To return from the venue: First shuttle leaves at 9:30 PM. Last shuttle departs at 11:00 PM. If you drive to the venue but find that you are not comfortable driving back at the end of the event, PLEASE leave your car at Della Terra and take the shuttle back to downtown. Della Terra simply asks that you pick up your car before 2:00 PM the next day. It is common for the police to set up DUI checkpoints in Estes Park. Also in the interest of safety, we do not want anyone to get behind the wheel after drinking. Uber and Lyft are not available in Estes Park, so please take the shuttle. We want everyone to have a fun and safe time at the wedding!
Hotel
Estes Park has a variety of accommodation options at various price points. We do not have an organized block of hotel rooms. We recommend booking a hotel in downtown Estes Park for easy access to the shuttle service we are arranging to transport guests to and from our wedding venue. The shuttles will be picking up guests from the following hotels: The Ridgeline Hotel The Stanley Hotel On average, there are 4 weddings per day in Estes Park during the summer! This means that hotels book quickly. Be sure to book your hotel soon!
Travel Note
Every state has different COVID policies in place. Currently, the state of Colorado does not require fully vaccinated individuals to wear masks in public indoor spaces. However, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment encourages people who are not fully vaccinated to wear masks in public indoor spaces. In general, we encourage you to wear a mask if you would feel more comfortable, especially given the lack of social distancing at our wedding events.
Travel Note
Our wedding venue is located at an altitude of 8296 feet! As many of our guests will be traveling from sea level, we recommend that everyone prepare for our high-altitude wedding weekend. Please click the "view" link below to learn about how to prepare for your trip!
Travel Note
Colorado weather can change quickly, and it is tricky to predict far in advance. Remember that some of the weekend events are outdoors, so we recommend that you check the weather in advance so that you are prepared. Please click the "view" link below to check the weather forecast!
