Out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our loved ones, we have decided to cancel our big wedding in September. Instead we will be having an intimate private ceremony in September and postpone our reception until a later date. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone in the future.
Fallon and Justin first met at UC Davis in the fall of 2010. Fallon had stopped by the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity house to see her then boyfriend. She spent a couple minutes talking with two of the new members, unaware she would end up marrying one of them nearly 10 years later. They became friends over the school year and stayed in touch after she graduated and moved home to San Diego. Their courtship began soon after Fallon moved back to Davis in 2012. Their first date came about when Justin lost a bet to Fallon and had to cook her a steak dinner (one of many dinner dates to come). After 5 months of spending time with Fallon and growing closer, Justin finally asked her to be his girlfriend while they were at their favorite bar, Froggy's Bar & Grill while the bartenders danced on the bar during a "Harlem Shake" video.
After securing approvals from a number of Fallon’s family and friends, Justin was ready to POP the question!!! It was a drizzly morning in March when Justin suggested they take their dog, Gus, to Lake Berryessa so he could get in some swimming. Everything seemed like a normal trip to the lake as they threw duck dummies for Gus when Justin said he would rather throw tennis balls. After throwing the first one he looked at the second and said “Hey! This one says something on it,” and tossed it to Fallon, who then proceeded to drop it into the lake. After pulling it out of the water she read “Will you marry me?” and looked up to see Justin on one knee on the edge of the lake with a ring in hand. After asking half of a dozen times if he was serious, she happily exclaimed “Yes!” much to the irritation of the bass fisherman who were enjoying a quiet morning.
