Portland to the Coast

Fly into Portland, Oregon. 1.5 hours drive via HWY 6 through the forest to Tillamook From Tillamook: 15 min drive to Oceanside (or 11 to Netarts) on the 131 15 min drive to Kilchis River campground 17 min drive to Cape Lookout campground 32 min drive to Pacific City

Traveling to the Venue

Camp Clark is 20 - 30 minutes south of Netarts and Oceanside. If you are renting a vehicle, there is ample parking space at the venue. Uber/Lyft don't really exist out here, so make plans to rent a vehicle, coordinate with friends/family to catch a ride, hitchhike, or let us know you're ready to party on the shuttle. We are working to have a spectacular school bus from Rockaway come by about 11 or 1130pm to scoop up the stragglers (please note on the RSVP that you're gonna be a straggler, so we plan accordingly). If you do drive to the venue and celebrate with us to the point of not being able to drive home, PLEASE don't drive home. The coastal highway is winding, dark, and full of the same deer that sabotage our salad garden. The venue allows guests to leave their vehicles in the parking lot overnight, and we love a good car camp.

Places on the coast get booked early. Ocean plunge (Sunday) is at Oceanside. Wedding venue is Camp Clark, near cape lookout. We have a couple camp spots reserved at cape lookout and one or two rooms in Oceanside, holler if you’re having trouble finding a place to bunk down. Campgrounds: Kilchis river--rvs and tent (40 min to venue, 30 to Oceanside) Cape lookout--rents cabins, rvs, tent sites 6 months in advance (15 min to venue, 15 to Oceanside) Airbnb, vacasa or vrbo Oceanside, happy camp, netarts, cape meares. There are a bunch of basic scout camp single platform bunkhouses and a bunch of space for tents at the venue… Bring a sleeping bag and save ur bnb money for another night.
