Dove & Blaise

We were on our summer vacation in Germany. Dove has always loved historical sites and had been wanting to visit the Brühl Palace for years after seeing pictures of it online. Blaise had secretly texted her best friend Theresa that he planned on proposing at the palace. We arrived at Brühl and were told that it was guided tours only and pictures of any kind were restricted to only two locations within the palace walls. Blaise had a small moment of panic but ultimately knew he could still pull the proposal off. The tour was beautiful and Dove found herself so easily enamored with the beauty of the Palace that she hadn't even noticed that Blaise's front pocket was in the perfect shape of a box. Finally they reached the staircase Dove had seen so many times online and when they were told that photos were permitted she immediately asked for so many to be taken at all different angles. Blaise knew it was time to put his plan in action. He asked Theresa to capture the moment and sneakily told Dove that they should take pictures on the staircase together, with her posed just a few steps in front of him. Then while she posed for the camera he got the ring out and got down on one knee. Dove - for her part - did not realize what was happening and kept posing for the camera. It took Theresa telling her to turn around for her to actually realize what was occurring. But as soon as she saw Blaise on one knee she felt the breath leave her body and hardly held back her "yes" while he sweetly asked her to marry him. It was a beautiful and magical moment that both of them cherish.
