When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

If you are able to RSVP when you receive your invitation that is great and extremely helpful! We ask that you kindly RSVP by September 10th, 2025.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be a black tie/formal affair. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear tuxedos or dark suits, while ladies can opt for floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses. We can't wait to celebrate with you in style! Guide to black tie: https://www.vogue.com/article/black-tie-dress-code

What do I do if I can't make it?

You will be dearly missed! If you are unable to attend the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "decline" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We respectfully request no children at our wedding.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

While we would love to celebrate with everyone, we have a strict headcount number per the venue policy. Please only bring a plus one if they were included on your invitation.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside in the garden, as long as weather permits. The reception will be inside. There will be a coat check when you enter the venue as well.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony starts promptly at 6:00PM. Please plan to arrive between 5:30-5:45 at Larz Anderson House to allow time to be seated. Please allow 10-15 minute buffer if you plan to walk or Uber to the venue.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

The Larz Anderson House is in the heart of Dupont Circle and is an easy 5-10 minute walk from our hotel recommendations. Uber and Lyft are also quick and easy in the city.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

There is no parking available at the venue. We recommend alternative transportation like Uber or Lyft.

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Answer

Welcome Party - Friday October 10th, at 8:30 PM - Teddy & The Bully Bar After Party - Saturday October 11th, at 11:00PM - The Admiral
