When Jared and I first started dating, we went on a hike above Holmberg Park. We climbed through the forest to a rock on top of Five Mile that overlooked all of Spokane and shared our first kiss. Well, Jared decided to propose in that exact same spot! Since it was pouring down rain so he set up a tent with fairy lights wrapped in tulle inside and photos from our entire relationship hanging from the photos. He had flowers and candles set up in the corner and a giant pot of mac n cheese. He wrote an amazing long heartfelt letter with all the vows and promises and hopes for our future together. At the end, he said to step out of the tent and brought me over to the edge of the rock, overlooking the beautiful foggy mist, and asked me to marry him. I am so excited to be married to the most caring, hardworking, resilient, smart, Jesus-loving, funny guy I know!
