Where is the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held at the same place. Please find the address below: Embassy Suites by Hilton Mandalay Beach Resort 2101 Mandalay Beach Rd, Oxnard, CA 93035

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 6pm, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to settle into your seats.

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

The reception will end promptly at 12am.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal/Cocktail please. Gentlemen: Suit or nice slacks and jacket. Please no short sleeves, polos, khakis or denim. Also, no sandals or sneakers during ceremony or cocktail hour. Ladies: Evening wear or cocktail dress/attire. Please refrain from wearing dusty blue, light/baby blue, cream, ivory, and white. Our ceremony and appetizers will take place outside on the lawn, so keep this in mind when choosing shoes. Our reception will take place indoors.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, then you may not bring a date.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We absolutely love your kids and wish we could have everyone be present at the wedding. However, other than the littles in the wedding party, we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We have decided to have an unplugged ceremony. Please no pictures or videos, we would love you all to be full present with us to share this wonderful moment in our lives. Our photographer and videographer will capture every aspect of our ceremony and we promise to share all the photos with you. Fell free to take as many pictures as you want during the appetizer hour and reception and tag us: #ShoreToBeRodriguezes

Feel free to snap as many photos and videos as you wish during the cocktail hour and reception! Use our hashtag #ShoreToBeRodriguezes for any posts!

Are you registered?

Answer

Please click on our “Registry” tab above. We will have a gift table if you would like to bring your gift to the wedding or you can send your gift to our home: 824 Idlewood Road, Glendale, CA 91202

What if I want to make a monetary gift?

Answer

If you would like to gift money/checks for us to use for our honeymoon or as we like, there will be a card box at the wedding. If there is another method you would like to use, feel free to let us know!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Please be sure to bring cash/credit if you would like to continue to have cocktails/drinks throughout the night.

Will there be a dollar dance?

Answer

Yes! So be sure to bring cash if you want to catch a dance with the bride or groom!

Can I still attend the wedding if I did not RSVP?

Answer

Unfortunately, if you do not RSVP prior to June 21st, due to final guest count required by our venue, you and your guest(s) will not be able to attend. We will do our part to reach out with reminders.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

We will miss you, but we understand. Please let us know as soon as possible by RSVP. If you have already responded "Yes" on your RSVP, we ask that you please let us know as soon as possible and/or update your status on our RSVP page (tab above), so we can plan appropriately.

Will there be parking?

Self-parking: $17 per night Valet parking: $36 per night
