Einstein’s Travel Tips

Travel Note

Where to Land, Where to Stay

We’re so grateful that many of you are traveling across time zones (and coasts!) to celebrate with us. Whether you’re coming from the East Coast (hello Maryland, DC, NYC!) or the Midwest and West (Chicago, Seattle, the Bay Area), it means the world to us. We’ll share hotel block info and recommendations soon, but in the meantime, we suggest staying in or near Downtown Los Angeles, close to the venue. It’s walkable, transit-friendly, and full of great food, Art Deco charm, and that LA sparkle we fell in love with. Flying in? LAX is the main airport, but Burbank (BUR) is a smaller, often calmer option if you’re flying from the West or Midwest. We’ll update this page as details come together — but if you need local tips or help planning, we’ve got you. We’ve lived in LA for over a decade and love playing tour guide (especially when it involves tacos, ramen, or KBBQ). Einstein’s tip: Wear sunscreen no matter what, hydrate often, and always find the sunny spot for a nap. ☀️🐾 Getting around: Rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are easy in LA, and the venue is centrally located in Downtown. Want to try something fun? Waymo’s driverless cars are now available in LA — contact Rachel for a guest code and how-to info.
