This is where we had our first date on June 26, 2022!
Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden
On our first date we walked from the restaurant through this park and the Bog Garden. We talked for hours. Note: the park is prime Pokémon hunting.
The Bog Garden at Benjamin Park
This park is right across the street from the Bicentennial Garden. We strolled through this park on our first date.
Greensboro Arboretum
This park was the place where Landen, Doug and I spent time together for the first time. We went Pokémon hunting and checked out all the beautiful flowers on the trails. *Another prime Pokémon hunting location.
Boxcar Bar + Arcade
We had our second date here. Boxcar is great place to be a kid again. Tons of vintage games from pinball to skee-ball to Galaga and even Tekken and Streetfighter. This place became a staple for us whenever we go out. *Kids (under 21) aren't allowed in past 7:00 pm.
Bull City Ciderworks Greensboro
We love this bar. It's not only relaxing, but you can site by the fire outside, play games or enjoy the entertainment the bar has scheduled. They also have some great food trucks that pass through. *This establishment is family friendly.

OMG! Some of the most amazing cheesecake and its right downtown.
Greensboro Science Center
We love the Science Center! This is a must see for families. They have a zoo and aquarium with a sting ray touch pool. Yes you can pet a sting ray! They even have a carousel for the kiddos to ride on. NOTE: when the RSVP is open you be able to get a discounted rate to the Science Center for just being one of our guests! Keep in mind that you will need to get a pass from us, and it will only be valid on June 27, 2025!
Red Oak Brewery
This is one of the places where we would go to relax. They have a beautiful garden where you can have a drink with friends. (Kiddos aren't allowed at this establishment)

Ladies...Needing a place to get your hair done for the wedding? Check out Lexi over at Strange Beauty can help you with a killer blow out for the wedding. If you are wanting to schedule an updo they will get you connected to another amazing stylist at Strange Beauty.
Ozzie's Ice-Cream Shop
This is our FAVORITE local ice cream place. Hand served ice cream with a huge WALL of flavors. It also backs up to the greenway through Military Park. You can stroll and enjoy some ice cream. *to get to the greenway you will walk all to the back of the lot and there is a path through the trees. The greenway is paved and easy to walk.
