Our story began back in middle school, when we met as friends who simply enjoyed being around each other. Through the years, that friendship grew — from shared laughs in the hallways to late-night talks that made time disappear. After high school graduation in 2019, something shifted. The friendship that had always felt so easy turned into something deeper, and that summer, we started dating. From long-distance years and college adventures to learning how to grow and support each other through life’s changes, we’ve built our relationship on the same foundation that started it all — friendship, laughter, and love. Then one beautiful day at Scott Harvey Vineyard in Plymouth, CA, surrounded by family and sunshine, Douglas asked Allie to marry him. She said yes, of course — and the day ended with a surprise celebration with our closest friends.
