Christine and Pat were introduced by Tara (Brennan) Johnston, Pat's cousin who Christine also worked with. Christine and Pat went on two dates... which unfortunately for Pat, did not result in a third. Pat was sweet and funny but Christine hadn't quite realized their full potential just yet. Fast forward six months later (October 2015) and Pat started working at the same company as Christine. The tables quickly turned and immediately Christine knew she had made a mistake. Their first few days working together and they were already spending time together and a few short weeks later they were inseparable.

The proposal couldn't have been any more perfect! It happened just before they were heading out to a New Year's Eve dinner. Just as Christine started walking down the stairs, their song ('More of You' by Chris Stapleton) started to play and she quickly saw their Golden Retriever puppy, Theo wearing a sign and Pat down on one knee. Theo couldn't have been more excited as he wore a photo collage filled with pictures from their three years together that said 'WILL YOU MARRY ME?' The only answer was YES! After dinner they celebrated and rang in the New Year with family and friends. 2019 was off to a tremendous start!
