When do I need to RSVP by?

What if I am unable to attend?

Answer

Your presence at our big day will most definitely be missed. Please RSVP not attending. If you have already RSVP'd attending but now find you are no longer able to then please contact us as soon as you are able.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

While we do not have a strict dress code and just ask that you wear something you are comfortable in and wedding appropriate. We do kindly ask that you refrain from wearing white, ivory, cream or anything which is typically associated with being bridal. No jeans,sneakers,etc.

Are children invited?

Answer

If you know Douglas & Shamore, you know how much we love your little ones! But unfortunately, we can not accommodate anyone not listed +1 on the invitation. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes, the drinks are on us! Please drink responsibly and arrange all necessary transportation from the venue. We want all of our loved ones to make it home safe.

Can I take photos?

Answer

Whilst we are more than happy for you to take photos of our day we do just ask that you are mindful of our photographer as nobody wants their professional photos to be blocked accidentally by a well meaning person's phone or camera. We do also request that all mobile phones are switched off or on silent for the duration of the wedding ceremony.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As with children we have a limited capacity so will only be able to accommodate guests who are formally invited on your wedding invitation. This will be listed on your invitation with either their name or 'and guest pass.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

wedding ceremony will begin at 3:45pm and so we ask that guests arrive at around 3:15pm to ensure everyone is seated prior to the ceremony commencing. If you do arrive late we kindly ask that you remain outside of the venue or in the reception room until the ceremony is complete.
