FAQs

Question

What's the attire?

Answer

Attire for our wedding is Cocktail Attire (for ex. suit/tie or sport coat with dress pants for the men and a cocktail dress or dressy separates for the ladies) Guests will need to walk on the grass for the ceremony, so if you are wearing heels, consider a chunkier heel because thin ones might seep into the grass making it hard to walk. If choosing to wear shoes with thin heels, consider a heel cover like these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KGEOIKM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue shortly after 4:30PM to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space (located about a 5-minute walk from the parking lot) and find a seat. The ceremony will begin 5:00PM.

Question

If I am using the provided transportation, when does it depart?

Answer

If you are staying at the Desmond and indicated that you are using the provided transportation in the RSVP, you may use the provided transportation. There will be 2 King Limo buses parked out front of the main entrance to the Desmond Hotel which will start boarding at 3:50 and they will depart at 4pm. There might be other shuttle buses to other weddings, so make sure you are on the Reed-Dougherty bus to Tyler Arboretum. There will also be a bus back to the venue at the end of the night. Return buses will depart the wedding at about 10:30 pm, arriving back at The Desmond Hotel at approximately 11:00pm.

Question

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both at Tyler Arboretum, 515 Painter Rd, Media, PA 19063. Once you arrive, you'll see signage directing you to area where the ceremony will take place.

Answer

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, but we would like our special day to be an adult-only occasion.

Can I bring a plus one?

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. The name of every guest and plus ones invited are listed on the envelope of the invitation. Due to the capacity with our reception venue, we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests that were not listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!
