We are getting married at Saint Lucy’s Roman Catholic Church In Newark NJ at 2:30PM. The church has a fully accessible and gated parking lot attached to the church for easy parking.
We have a shuttle service being provided at both hotels under guest accommodations. This shuttle will transport all hotel guest staying at "The Archer or Hyatt House" to and from the hotel and the reception venue throughout the night. Unfortunately, we do not have transportation provided for the ceremony at the church. We recommend driving to the church for the ceremony and checking into your hotel afterwards. There will be a small gap between ceremony and reception time. There is also Uber and Lyft car services available and a short 20-25 minute ride to and from the hotels and church location. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We love kiddos, but due to the formality and timeline of our wedding, we ask that no kids attend our reception. We hope you can enjoy a night out with us .
Our ceremony will begin at 2:30PM and last anywhere from 35-40 minutes. The church is about a 20-25 minute drive depending on traffic from the two hotels or town our venue is located in. We highly recommend driving to the church first for the ceremony and checking into the hotels afterwards. There will be a bit of a gap between the ceremony and reception time. We do apologize for this, but had to honor the times of the church we are getting married in. Our cocktail hour begins at 6PM. The shuttles will most likely start transporting guests from both hotels around 5:30PM to and from the reception hall. Both hotels have fully operating bars where you can enjoy a drink or socialized prior to the reception. You can check into your room, get situated, and freshen up if needed. Morristown is a wonderful little town that has many bars and restaurants you can grab a drink from as well if needed. You do not need to be a guest in the hotel in order to go there to hangout before the reception. If you have any questions or need suggestions don't hesitate to reach out to Jenna or Shawn.
As we all know the bride loves any excuse to dress up. Our wedding attire is Formal or black tie optional. If you wish to wear a tux or gown, or you may stay more casual in a suit or dress. All that we request is no hats, sneakers, flannel, or jeans be worn on our special day. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone.
