What should I wear?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. For ladies, think knee-to-midi length dresses or an elegant jumpsuit in light fabrics. For gentlemen, a suit or slacks paired with a button-up shirt and tie works wonderfully. Because our celebration includes a sunset lake cruise, we kindly suggest bringing a light jacket or wrap to stay comfortable in the evening. If you’d like to join in on our wedding theme, we suggest choosing muted colors to match the mountain landscape.

What should we expect on the lake cruise?
Answer
We are ending our day with a private sunset cruise on the McCall Lake Cruises charter boat! The boat will pick us up at a dock that's a short one-minute walk from the venue. We’ll catch the sunset, enjoy cocktails and music, and have our first dance right on the water. Don't worry if you don't have your sea legs—it’s a large vessel, so it will be an easy ride. How do I get to the Kokanee Cove Event Center?
Answer
Enter Ponderosa State Park via the Davis Ave entrance and continue straight. Follow the slight right curve past the University of Idaho grounds on Miles Standish Rd, then turn left onto University Dr. Continue straight past the campgrounds and stay on University Dr. Keep going until you see the Kokanee Cove access road on your left. Is there a fee to enter Ponderosa State Park?
Answer
We have reserved park day passes for our guests on the wedding day. Please tell the attendant at the entry station that you are here for the Kanz/Ward Wedding at Kokanee Cove.

Is there parking available?
Answer
Yes! There is a parking lot at the Kokanee Cove Event Center. As parking at the venue is slightly limited, carpooling is greatly appreciated. Should the main lot fill, the nearest overflow parking is located at the Deep Water Boat Launch.

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
Due to the capacity of our venue, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your wedding invitation.
