Lana went on a work trip to Michigan and met Doug. What began as a friendship would later grow into something more.

Doug called Lana on Halloween, and neither of them had plans for the evening. With Lana’s award-winning chili waiting at home, they spent the night talking and handing out candy to trick-or-treaters.

During an incredible sunrise on the sandy beaches of Puerto Vallarta, Doug got down on one knee and asked Lana to be his fiancée and future wife. She said yes.
