With an amazing lakeside view and equally amazing Prime rib dinner, what kind of future in law would I be if I didn't recommend Bayside Supper Club, Aarons Parents, Mike and Doreen's Restaurant, as a great place in town to stop by and grab a bite to eat. Open Thu-Sat evenings (wont be open on day of wedding obviously) and Sunday mornings for brunch!
The Wisconsin Dells are a scenic gorge and city in Wisconsin that's known for its rock formations, water parks, and other attractions. There is so much to do here as a tourist and is definitely the place to go to make memories with your family. We have had a trip here every year since we have been together and have a blast every time.
State Street in Madison has got it going on. Stroll from the University to the the Capitol and enjoy everything in between. Shopping, bars, restaurants, theaters, street music, you name it they've got it. You will not be at a loss of what to do on State Street.
If you decide to take a day out in Milwaukee, The Milwaukee Public Market is an excellent place to grab Lunch. They have pretty much every kind of food you can think of, and so far, I haven't tried anything I haven't liked so far.
While this is a bit of a drive from us (about a 4 hour drive), The Mall of America is definitely a bucket list item to check off your list. We took our first little road trip as a couple here and we had so much fun. If The Mall of America is somewhere you have been curious about I would definitely recommend taking a trip there.
