When should I RSVP by?

In lieu of a traditional registry, we are kindly asking for cash/venmo donations to our honeymoon fund!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
We invite you to begin joining us at 2:30 pm and to arrive no later than 3:00 pm.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Kids ARE welcome at our wedding! We just kindly ask that they are supervised at all times, as our venue is located in a penthouse quite high up with outdoor areas that may not be fully childproof. Your help in keeping little ones safe is truly appreciated!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We will be having a MOSTLY unplugged ceremony. Our officiant, Matt, will be announcing when pictures and videos are allowed during the ceremony. There will be a moment for you to snap pictures at the beginning and end of the ceremony.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We want everyone to feel comfortable! The vibe we are going for is elevated casual. Dress pants, button down shirts, dresses and skirts are all welcome. No jeans please.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
We will be covering beer, house wine, rail liquor and soda for most of the evening. Anything other than that will be a cash bar. Our event staff will let you know when we switch over to a fully cash bar.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Plus ones should have been included on your invitations. We are asking that plus ones be reserved for long term partners. If you have any questions, please reach out to the bride or groom!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! There is a parking lot for our venue and the Aloft hotel, where we have our wedding block of rooms, is within walking distance of the venue so you are welcome to leave your vehicle parked there if you book a room there.

What’s the food situation?
Answer
We will be having appetizers during cocktail hour and a pizza buffet, salad and appetizers from Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom for dinner.
