Chris and Brooke have known each other since elementary school. They both went to Northwest and then to Walker Middle School. In 6th grade they were "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" for 2 whole weeks and Brooke even still has the Nutcracker Christmas card Chris gave her when they were together! In 7th grade they were both in the show choir group Stargate. They went to different schools in 8th grade, and even though they both went to Sickles for high school, they never crossed paths. Chris says it was for the best ;) At 26, Brooke saw Chris on Tinder, and swiped right because hey, it was her 6th grade boyfriend. She thought that Chris swiped left because they didn't match until a month later (Chris claims it was because he never got on the app). So, finally, they matched! They talked every day for 3 weeks until Brooke asked him on a date. Their third date lasted all day, from brunch to dinner because they couldn't stop talking, and that's when they realized they might like each other a lot! Brooke's nursing humor went right along with Chris' army humor. Only about a month after they became official, they ended up going on a cruise together because plans had fallen through with friends. At the group dinner table Chris and Brooke were asked how long they had been together, and embarrassingly they said a few weeks! The table's response: "Invite us to the wedding!" They have been together for 5 years now and moved to Denver last year. It was hard to leave friends and family, but they have fallen in love with the mountains and fallen even more in love with each other on this new journey together. They are so excited to get married in the magic of the mountains and share their love of Colorado with all of their wedding guests!
