The Ice House is a beer garden and restaurant, located in the heart of uptown Dallas on the Katy Trail. We highly suggest coming here after a walk on the Katy Trail and getting a summer beer!

Burger House
The best burger and fries in Dallas (and close to the hotel)!!! Pro tip: buy a bottle of their famous Seasoning Salt. You'll thank us later :)
Mi Cocina
A Dallas institution! Dorothy has brought Wyatt here every time he's come to Dallas, and he loves it as much as she does. We highly recommend the Mambo Taxi (frozen margarita swirled with sangria) :)
Eatzi’s Market & Bakery
Eatzi's is a great market that has almost any food you could want. They have great prepared meals, pastas, and desserts, but their custom sandwich and salad bars are Dorothy's favorite. Definitely get a sandwich on their "bone bread"!
Torchy's Tacos
A casual recommendation for out-of-towners. There are many Torchy's locations across Texas, and there's a reason why! If you've never had a breakfast taco, this is a great place to start.
