For a 6 mile run or walk start at the Memorial Union or start at Parking Lot 129 (address listed here) for a short 2-mile out and back to one of Diana's favorite spots in Madison.

Walk (or run) to Picnic Point on Lakeshore Path

This street runs 8 blocks from the University to Capitol Square. Lined with restaurants, shops, and bars, there is something for everyone.

Take a stroll down State Street

Here's one for the history buffs! Take a look around and inside the WI state capitol building named a National Historic Landmark in 2001.

Tour the capital building

Stop by the Memorial Union Terrace to sit in the iconic colored chairs and enjoy a pitcher of Spotted Cow, a scoop (or two) or Babcock Ice Cream made at UW, a brat, and a gorgeous view of Lake Mendota.
