Nic & Lindsay’s love story is a unique one. They met in the 7th grade and had two classes together. Nic was the class clown and luckily for him, Lindsay is the easiest person to make laugh. Unbeknownst to either of them at the time, they had crushes on each other but nothing ever came of it. At the end of their 8th grade year, the two were going to different high schools. They took a final photo together in the school’s gym and eventually lost touch. After many years of no contact between high school, Nic’s college years at FSU, and Lindsay’s at FIU, the two were 23 years old, single, and on Bumble. Lindsay was swiping through the app and came across Nic’s profile, realized she knew him, didn’t think much of it, but swiped right anyways. “IT’S A MATCH!” popped up on the screen. Nic had swiped right on her first. Then… she deleted the app. On Nic’s end, he thought she must’ve remembered his braces and cargo shorts from middle school and unmatched him. Lindsay became curious about this boy she hadn’t seen or spoken to in 9 years. Thankfully, they still followed each other on Instagram for all those years. The next day, Lindsay was debating if she should message Nic on Instagram or not. Finally, she slid in his DMs and his witty response swept her right off her feet. Nic still had Lindsay’s phone number since middle school and they quickly reconnected and planned their first date. Nic & Lindsay had a lunch date at Bartaco on August 13, 2022 and have been inseparable ever since. On November 7, 2022, they made their relationship official. Over the next 3 years, their relationship grew with lots of laughter, breakfast dates, country concerts, and weekend trips to the Keys and Lake Placid. Nic & Lindsay found themselves back in the Keys for their 3 year anniversary. On November 7, 2025, Nic proposed to Lindsay on the most beautiful day. Nothing better than a Florida Keys sunset! It was a dream come true. And finally, they’re getting married! Always take a chance on fate, you never know where it could lead you.
