High School Sweethearts

We met in high school, and Austin's first impression of me was not that great (thanks, RBF). Over the summer of 2019, we started talking everyday. When the Cattaraugus County Fair came around, we finally hung out in person. That is where I fell for him, head over heels. Everything about him was perfect, he lit up my world in the most special way. After that, we were inseparable. We had an instant connection, and it was clear that we were falling for each other. August 24, 2019 he asked me to be his girlfriend, and our wedding day will be our 6th anniversary! With each day that passes, we fall for each other more and more. We're high school sweethearts who get to live the happily ever after that I always dreamt of as a kid. We truly were best friends who fell in love, and that love has led us to a beautiful life in the home we bought with the puppies we've raised (shoutout Jackson and Rey). We've grown together from 16 and 17 years old trying to make it through high school to 22 and 23 years old creating the most amazing life together. We are so excited to celebrate our love with our families!

How he popped the question!

I have wanted to marry Austin since we started dating. I fell in love with him day 1 and I have loved him ever since. 2 years into our relationship we started talking about marriage and what we wanted in life. Our goals were so similar that it was clear it was meant to be. Year 3, I started asking him to propose to me (I was 19 with a dream), but he said we needed to live together first. 10 days before our 4th anniversary, we closed on our first home together that we worked so hard for. We finally lived together, so of course I started asking him when he'd propose every single day after that! I told him my dream proposal was in Paris, but I knew we wouldn't be able to afford it so my second dream proposal was in the Paris section of Epcot in Walt Disney World. Austin had never gone, while I had gone 4 times before. I showed him pictures of the gorgeous fountain that we had always gone to and told him how amazing it would be for it to happen there. A couple months later, my mom decided to take us to Disney World for my birthday/college graduation! Austin immediately told me not to get my hopes up, that he wasn't going to do it there. Fast forward to July 2024, we get to Disney World for my 21st birthday/college graduation trip. Our second day, we went to Epcot. We were walking through Paris after riding a ride, and we stopped by my favorite fountain so I could pull up the map on my phone to find our next attraction. Austin asked me for a photo in front of the fountain, and I was super mean and said no (I know I'm awful, the FL heat is so overwhelming), and he panicked. He didn't know what to do, and looked to my sister who gave him the "is this girl for real right now?" look and then he asked me again. We stand in front of the fountain and he begins his speech about how much he loves me, and I am speechless to say the least. I instantly regret my hesitation to take a photo, and then he gets down on one knee. Of course I said yes! I was waiting 5 years for this moment! It was truly a magical dream come true. July 23, 2024 was when I said yes to forever.
