At the time I came across Dorinda’s profile, I wasn’t necessarily looking for love, but I was open to it. I told myself I would scroll through just three profiles before closing the Hinge app. Dorinda happened to be the third. The moment I saw her profile, something in me felt that she was different.The only challenge was that she didn’t have any social media linked to her profile, so there was no clear way to contact her outside the app. But I couldn’t shake the feeling that I needed to get to know her. Eventually, I came across her LinkedIn profile and decided to take a chance by sending her a message.Not long after, we had our first phone conversation. From that moment on, we talked every single day. After that first call, I remember immediately calling my mom and saying, “I think I just found my wife.”Our first date was originally supposed to be dinner, but plans changed and we ended up getting ice cream at Cold Stone instead. What seemed like a simple ice cream date quickly became the beginning of something truly special. One of the things I admire most about Dorinda is her heart. She loves deeply, cares for others wholeheartedly, and challenges me to grow. She has played a major role in strengthening my relationship with God, encouraging me to pursue my faith more intentionally and deepen my walk with Christ. I cannot wait to stand before Him, our family, and our friends on August 27, 2026, and marry the incredible woman He placed in my life.

At the time Terrence came across my profile, I had already given up on online dating and had deleted the Hinge app,but I didn’t realize was that my profile was still active. One day, completely out of the blue, I received a message from him on LinkedIn saying that he had seen my profile on Hinge. At that point in my life, I truly wasn’t looking for love and had completely surrendered that area of my life to God. I trusted that if marriage was part of His plan for me, He would bring the right person into my life in His perfect timing.As Terrence and I began talking more, I slowly started to see his heart. Faith has always been extremely important to me, and I knew that the man I would marry needed to desire a deep relationship with God. As we continued getting to know each other, I watched Terrence begin to grow spiritually and pursue God more intentionally. Seeing his willingness to grow in his faith meant so much to me.From the very beginning, Terrence was incredibly intentional about me. He has been consistent, genuine, and a man truly true to his word. His commitment to our relationship, his love for his family, and the way he shows up for the people he cares about made me admire him even more.What started as a simple LinkedIn message turned into a beautiful love story that only God could have written. I cannot wait to stand before God, our family, and our friends on August 27, 2026 and marry the man He so perfectly chose for me.
