We met in October 2017 at a Chicago bar in San Francisco. We both thought each other cute but neither made a move. The next day he got my number from Addie, one of our bridesmaids, who introduced us the night before and was working with him at Medley. She was also my roommate at the time. For our first date, Dorin planned a surprise that I badgered him via text for a week to give me a clue. When he finally sent, "rabbit emoji + top hat emoji", I immediately knew he was taking me to a magic show but I played along. What I didn't know was that he had also invited his entire work team, including Addie. This date was a magic show in the basement of a dodgey bar in the Mission with 10 of his co-workers. Plus, dinner for just the two of us after the show. That night I saw his welcoming spirit and how he brings people together. He loved my energy and how I made him and our company laugh. In the past two years, we've grown together feeling grateful for how life bought us together. We are currently splitting time between SF and San Diego, CA enjoying the sunshine, the city life and when our friends and family visit. We are so excited to celebrate our marriage with your support!
