Please let me know if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions and I will let catering know.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The hotel will have a free shuttle to and from the Armour House. It is a 5 minute drive.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block reserved at The Hilton Garden Inn, 26325 North Riverwoods Blvd Mettawa, IL (847) 457-2482. 5 minutes from Armour House. There will be a shuttle bus running from the hotel to the venue before the ceremony and after the reception.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This event is semi-formal. Semi-formal is more dressed up than what you would wear to work in an office and less fancy than a black-tie gala. Think cocktail attire, blazers/suit jackets, dress pants and dressy shoes.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample parking available on the campus of Lake Forest Academy to host an event, with no fees associated. The facility does have a 24-7 security and if needed, cars may remain parked overnight upon request.

In the case of inclement weather, what happens to an outdoor wedding?

Answer

We are aiming to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outside however if it is raining these events will be indoors.
