Iggy's is a Rhode Island staple with clam chowder, doughboys, and fresh fish seated right on the water at Oakland Beach. This restaurant is not too far from our venue and is a classic, must try spot!
Narragansett Town Beach
Great spot for a walk on the beach! This area has some fun food spots and a couple of local wineries as well.
Thames Street Newport, RI
Quintessential Rhode Island! This is the main street of Newport with tons of shopping at local boutiques, great food, coffee shops, drinks, etc.
Basta Italian Restaurant
Located in Pawtuxet village, Basta is one of our favorite Italian restaurants with fresh made pasta and delicious drinks! A great place if you want classic Italian food- a Rhode Island staple!
Ocean Avenue
Fun drive around the famous mansions in Newport, RI. It will lead you to some spots to get out of your car and walk around the rocky beautiful beaches. At the end you will be among the historical mansions (like the Bellevue) which you can schedule a paid tour or just walk around/drive around the outsides of them.
Cafe Ava Providence
If you know Dori, she loves a coffee shop! And this one is great. With a Latin flare, this coffee shop is beautiful inside with plenty of seating, great coffee & specialty lattes, and delicious eats!
Apponaug Brewing Company
Ray used to work at this brewery and it is located right next to LOOM hotel. Super fun spot with good beer and eats!
Main Street Coffee
Main Street Coffee is a coffee shop during the day, but a cocktail bar at night! They serve some of the best espresso martinis in town and really known for them.
Narragansett Brewery
Narragansett brewery will give you beautiful views of the water in the heart of Providence! Good beer and close to Fox Point park (for the kiddos).
