FAQs

Question

Do I need a Passport & entry/exit E-Ticket?

Answer

Yes, absolutely! You'll need a valid passport for international travel, along with your entry and exit immigration e-ticket. Please complete the forms and have them ready to present upon arrival and departure. https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/?fbclid=IwdGRjcAQuLpZleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAo2NjI4NTY4Mzc5AAEebHsHhXprRTOKEc82C5u52BdauB1GofWcDwUPCUuTnV11MFwJhkMSNgfidqM_aem_-Q6GyBmOFia8SVXu-nYNZA

Question

Can I drink the water in DR?

Answer

We recommend sticking to bottled water during your stay. Please avoid tap water and use bottled water for brushing your teeth as well. The resort thoughtfully provides bottled water throughout the property and in the mini fridges in your rooms, so you'll have convenient access whenever you need it.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal Ladies: dresses Gentlemen: Suits and the tie is optional bright, bold, or tropical colors and patterns are all welcome — have fun with it! We’re only doing this once, so dress to impress and make it fabulous. You’re in the Caribbean after all!

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children to the wedding?

Answer

While we love and adore your little ones, our wedding ceremony and reception will be adults-only. Since the celebration is at an all-inclusive resort, children are absolutely welcome to stay at the resort — we just kindly ask that the wedding events themselves be a parents’ night out. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website! Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. We feel so lucky to celebrate this special day surrounded by the people we love most! As we look ahead to this next chapter, we’re dreaming of buying our first home together, a place where we can someday start our family. If you’d like to honor us with a gift, we would be so grateful for a contribution to our House Fund. Every little bit helps us get one step closer to our future front door!

Question

How far is the airport from Lopesan?

Answer

The airport is just 20 minutes away from Lopesan, making it incredibly convenient for your arrival and departure.

Question

Do men need long pants?

Answer

We recommend packing a pair of dress pants—khakis, chinos, or similar—just in case any restaurants have a dress code requirement. It's always better to be prepared!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm. We kindly ask guests to arrive 20 minutes prior to mingle and find their seats.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Please see the schedule page on our website for the list of events.

Question

What additional items should I pack?

Answer

We recommend packing a few essentials to help you stay comfortable throughout the trip. Be sure to bring sunscreen to protect yourself in the tropical sun, as well as electrolyte packets to stay hydrated. It’s also a good idea to pack over-the-counter stomach relief medication, as changes in food and water can sometimes affect digestion.
