This is a great local Italian restaurant in the Strip District, just down the street from the where the welcome party will be held.
One of many great Lawrenceville restaurants! This is a fun neighborhood to walk around in--with lots of great shops, restaurants and coffee. Driftwood Oven and Merchant Oyster Co. are two of our other favorites in that neighborhood.

Pittsburgh is famous for Primanti's, the sandwich with fries and coleslaw ON IT. There is one in the Strip District not far from the hotels and close to the welcome party venue.
Iconic? Legendary? It's Dorey's hometown bar--with a picture of Dorey's dad behind the bar and tales of her mom's bartending days. It's also where Zac asked for the Scheimer's blessing to marry Dorey. If you are sticking around for the weekend, we'll be posted up there Saturday night!
For our amusement park enthusiasts-- Kennywood is a great activity if you're sticking around on Saturday. Good rollercoasters and nothing beats Potato Patch fries.
Zac's forte into "chapter books" was a Roberto Clemente biography and he's been a fan ever since. The museum comes highly recommended by Dorey's parents.
For those driving west, this is a fun stop not far off the Pennsylvania turnpike. We love visiting this iconic Frank Lloyd Wright house about an hour outside of Pittsburgh.
