She’s mature beyond her years, often lovingly called the “mom” of her friend groups because she cares so deeply for everyone around her. Our relationship goes beyond just parent and child—we share everything, lean on each other through life’s ups and downs, and laugh until our cheeks hurt. Calista isn’t just my Maid of Honor; she’s our best friend, our greatest accomplishment, and the most beautiful reminder of how lucky we are.

Erissa is our calm in the chaos. She’s the friend who has every last detail perfectly organized and dependable to her core—the person you can count on to show up on time, prepared, and ready to help. We know this wedding (and, let’s be honest, our sanity) is in much better hands with her by our side. She’s the master organizer, the “we’ve got this” voice of reason, and the person we know we can always rely on. She’s understanding, thoughtful, and knows just what we need, often without us even saying a word. Erissa isn’t just my Maid of Honor—she’s my sister in every way that matters.

Mike has been a close friend for over 25 years, known for his resilience, loyalty, and sharp sense of humor. From late-night hangouts at his childhood home to a road trip to Woodstock, NY at 16 (“Your mom” jokes are still a thing), he’s been a constant through it all. We’re so grateful to have him standing beside us on our wedding day as our Best Man, and we can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with him.

Delfin and the late Socorro Anora have been the heart of our family. Though Mama passed on November 7, 2022, after a brave fight with colon cancer, her love, support, and devotion continue to guide us every day. She lived for her family, and her presence is deeply missed but forever felt in our hearts. Papa now carries her memory with him, and his strength as a husband and father is something we cherish and admire. If not for mama's endless love and sacrifices, we would not be where we are today. On this day, we celebrate with gratitude for both of them—honoring the memory of a beloved mother and embracing the blessing of a father whose love remains a constant.
