Yeaaah, we decided that rather than the traditional 6ish hours of celebration, we wanted to see the people we love the most for a whole weekend! If you can't hang out all weekend, that's totally fine. But we wanted to have a relaxing weekend getaway with our closest friends and family, so here we are!
Friday will be the traditional wedding ceremony and reception. Then on Saturday, we'll slowly rise, offer a yoga sesh, have a recovery float and swim in the swimming pond (it's maintained and cleaned by the property!), play some yard games, enjoy the sun, jam out to some live music, and then top off the night with a rave in the woods (shoutout Greg and Stef for the inspiration)!
For Friday: The dress code is cocktail attire. Think breezy summer style: linen suits, colorful dresses, and anything light and festive that will keep you cool in the July sunshine. Our wedding will be outdoors on grass and gravel, so please wear some sturdy shoes. Something comfortable that you can walk, eat, and dance in! For Saturday: Comfort is the priority! Depending on the activities you plan to join, don’t forget to bring sneakers for hiking, a bathing suit and towel for the swimming pond, and your grooviest outfit for the disco in the woods.
Yes, we'll have additional parking available at the camp for guests not staying onsite. For Friday, we're providing a shuttle service to and from the hotel—visit our travel page for full details. We recommend carpooling for Saturday or scheduling an Uber or Lyft.
We've got you covered for all the drinks all weekend, unless you want to bring your own (i.e. you won't find Joe Kline without a Miller Lite). We'll have plenty of Wissahickon beer, domestic beer, seltzers, wine, liquor, etc. Food wise, we'll have the following meals covered: Friday night dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Sunday breakfast. You are welcome to bring your own snacks - fridges, coolers, charcoal grills, and microwaves will be available.
During the reception, absolutely! However, we would appreciate it if you leave the photography to the professionals during the ceremony!
