Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is limited parking near the Trocadero Clubhouse at Stern Grove. Street parking is available up the hill, outside the park, as is SF Muni's K and M light rail lines as well as 23, 28, and 91 buses. Ride share is widely available throughout San Francisco - try out a self driving Waymo while you're here! It will be easiest to walk in from the Stern Grove entrance at 19th and Sloat, so be sure to point your GPS there.

What's the weather going to be?

Answer

San Francisco is cooler than the California stereotype would lead you to believe! Early April averages range from high 50s to high 60s, but it can feel a little chillier than what you may be used to at that temperature. Our wedding ceremony and dinner will be outside, with dancing inside the Trocadero Clubhouse. We'll have plenty of hot drinks, blankets, and heaters to ensure our collective comfort. We recommend bringing a jacket, just in case.

Dora and Saul will be staying at The Jay throughout their wedding weekend, and they'd love for you to join them! (See "Accommodations" for more details and booking link.) If that doesn't work for you, San Francisco is the home of Airbnb, and there are plenty here to choose from.
