We met freshman year in a mutual friend’s dorm room in Watterson Towers. Nothing dramatic—just one of those ordinary college moments that somehow sticks with you. Our first impressions of each other? Surprisingly spot-on. Everything felt simple from the start. By sophomore year, we had officially become best friends. We laughed at the same jokes, worked the same way, and naturally just gravitated toward each other. A huge part of that year? Our endless Sonic runs. Without even planning it, we always ordered the same thing: a blue raspberry slushie with Jolly Ranchers, a cherry limeade, and mozzarella sticks. Our little ritual became a sacred tradition. We spent our college years and beyond exploring wherever we could: Florida, LA, Denver, and then New York City, which quickly became our trip. The summer after we started dating, everything felt like the beginning of something real. Eventually, we moved in together, and it immediately felt like coming home—easy, comfortable, and exactly right. Then came Clover. One tiny, fluffy puppy picture later, we went from “just looking” to “welcome home!” She is the friendliest, cuddliest, sassiest little fluff-ball, and somehow, she has completely stolen the show and become the heart of our home. This is us: from a dorm room encounter to Sonic rituals, cross-country adventures, building a cozy home, and loving our little Clover along the way. Life has grown naturally, comfortably, and in the best way possible… and somehow, we all survived without spilling a single blue raspberry slushie in the car.
