A Friend of ours tried playing match maker years ago and we both tried to tell her we weren't looking for a relationship. We took each others info and texted for a bit but nothing became of it more than a simple friendship. We kept in touch over the years until, during Covid lockdown we got to know each other better as we shared stories about our new houses. Donte's with all his renovations and Sarah's with her decorations and family visits. Eventually it grew to video game sessions together and talking on the phone until one day, Donte realized he had someone special in his life and he wanted to do something about it. So he told Sarah how he felt and she just paused in an awkward, way too long silence before telling him she had no idea what was going on. Eventually she opened up to the idea of seeing where this could go. Now they are about to get married so it looks like Donte was right to make a move. (Now ask Sarah the part Donte is leaving out of this story.)
