Question

When will the bride and groom arrive?

Answer

Amanda & Dmitriy are arriving on Thursday, 12/11 and heading back home the following Thursday, 12/18. #GottaLovePTOyo

Question

When should I arrive at UNICO 20°87°?

Answer

The minimum required stay is 3 nights -- we recommend flying in anytime before 1 pm on December 12th and leave and day after December 14. If you'd like to stay longer than 3 nights, you are more than welcome to do so for the same daily room block rate. After all, this is your vacation, too!

Question

Once I land in Cancun, do what/go where?

Answer

Exit the plane, grab your bags, and proceed to customs. You'll see car rental/taxi and Vacation Salesmen services inside — everyone will be waving at you to use their services or say you need to talk to them before going outside..DO NOT STOP just keep going straight till you are outside of the building or else they will take up your time to sell you something. GRAB A DRINK! There's a bar outside, so grab a margarita, piña colada, Corona, or whatever — makes the ride to the resort even more fun! ***Please check out the "TRAVEL & HOTEL BOOKING" tab and enter your flight information. We will follow up with all of our guests on their transportation to the resort and the group that they will be traveling with.***

What should I expect once I get to the resort?

Answer

The greeter will ask to see your passport once you hop out of the shuttle. You will be seated in their beautiful lobby to fill out their questionnaire and check-in. You may get approached about a timeshare tour. If you're interested, great! If you're not, the quicker you tell them that you’re not interested, the quicker you can check into your room and meet us at the pool!

Should I bring cash? Does it have to be in Mexican pesos?

Answer

Yes to cash. Nope to pesos. We STRONGLY recommend bringing small bills for tipping: plenty of ones, fives & tens. The front desk does provide change for larger bills, but it's easier to be prepared. While tipping isn’t required, it’s a thoughtful way to show appreciation for the staff’s service. Based on our past experiences, it has greatly enhanced our overall experience! You can also use your credit card for souvenirs and other purchases. Make sure your bank knows you'll be traveling outside the States!

If you'd like to bring someone who isn't included on your invite, please get in touch with us directly.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, the resort is Adults Only (ages 18+). We hope you'll see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and PARTY!

What excursions do you recommend?

Answer

So glad you asked. While we know you’re coming to Mexico for our wedding (Gracias!), we also know this is YOUR vacation. Do your thing and have fun! Here’s what you can generally expect for December timing: Temperature: Highs around 80–85°F (27–29°C) and lows around 68–73°F (20–23°C). Humidity: Comfortable compared to the summer months, with a refreshing sea breeze.
