When should I RSVP by?

We ask that our guests RSVP online via our wedding website by Friday July 25, 2025.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Blithewold welcomes guests up to 30 minutes prior to our scheduled start time of 5:30pm. Arriving earlier than this may result in a staff member politely requesting all occupants of a vehicle to enjoy a self guided scenic tour of historic Bristol until 5pm.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided to or from the venue. The venue offers plenty of parking onsite. We encourage guests to consider using Uber or Lyft services to ensure a safe trip home after a night of celebrating with us. Check back to this section closer to our wedding date for an uber code that will help cover some uber travel fees. Any vehicles left overnight at the venue must be removed by 10am Sunday morning.

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail attire is requested. For those considering heels, please be aware that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on grass.

Will we be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will be held under a tent, rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be moved inside Blithewold Mansion.

Are kids welcome?

Due to guest number restrictions, we are only able to extend an invitation to the children of immediate family. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our guests.

In order to best accommodate and plan ahead, we ask that our guests please indicate their specific allergy or dietary restriction in the RSVP meal comment section. Please reach out to Kristen or Corey if there are any additional concerns or questions that need to be clarified with our caterer.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Open bar will be provided during cocktail hour and the reception. Bar service will end thirty minutes prior to the end of the reception.
