Travel

We're so excited to celebrate our special day with you all in the heart of the city that never sleeps! Whether you're local or traveling from afar, we've put together some helpful tips and recommendations to make your trip as smooth as possible. On this page, you will find the following travel information: GETTING TO NYC Below you will find flight, train, and other public transportation options to get to NYC. Driving to NYC is also an option but public parking is limited in Manhattan, so guests should utilize local parking garages if driving. ACCOMMODATIONS/HOTEL BLOCKS We've reserved hotel blocks at a few conveniently located spots in Midtown Manhattan within 5-10 minutes walking distance of each other and near many public transportation options. Reservation links and block info for each location are provided below. Guests are more than welcome to book at other locations nearby. *Please note that short-term rentals for Airbnb's is currently illegal in New York City*

Flight

NYC Airports

New York City has 3 main airports for travelers: LaGuardia International Airport (LGA), JFK International Airport (JFK), and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). To get to Midtown Manhattan, travelers have a few options. Taxis are readily available at each airport. Ride-share services, such as Uber and Lyft, also have designated pick-up zones at each terminal. If you opt for a taxi, wait on the taxi line and wait for a yellow cab. There is a flat rate for taxi's to and from JFK, while LGA and EWR are metered rates. *Please note: the only legal taxi's in NYC are YELLOW cabs* If travelers prefer to use public transportation, below are some options to Midtown Manhattan from each airport: LaGuardia International Airport (LGA) For public transit, travelers can take the M60 Select Bus Service (SBS) from LGA (Terminals B, C, or D) to 125th St & Lexington Ave in Harlem. From there, travelers can transfer to the subway system to get to Grand Central Terminal in Midtown. There is also the Q70 SBS bus from LGA to Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Ave station. From here, travelers can access the subway system to Grand Central Terminal in Midtown. John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) For directions to Midtown Manhattan, travelers can take the AirTrain JFK to Jamaica Station. At Jamaica Station, transfer to the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) toward Penn Station in Midtown. Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) For Midtown Manhattan, take the AirTrain from your terminal to Newark Liberty Airport Station. From there, transfer to an NJ Transit train heading to New York Penn Station in Midtown. Alternatively, if you arrive at Terminal A, B, or C, there is the Newark Airport Express Bus which can take you directly to Grand Central Terminal in Midtown.

Train

Amtrak

Amtrak offers a wider variety of train options at hundreds of cities/stations across the country. Trains heading into New York City using Amtrak lines terminate at the Moynihan Train Hall in Penn Station located in Midtown Manhattan.

Train

Metro-North Railroad

The Metro-North provides affordable train options for individuals/groups coming in from Long Island, upstate New York, and Connecticut. These train lines terminate at Grand Central Terminal in Midtown Manhattan which is steps away from our registered hotel blocks! For schedules and tickets, you can visit the MTA website linked below or download the MTA Train Time app on your personal device. If you are using this travel option, we strongly recommend downloading the Train Time app to purchase tickets.
