I’ve known Donovan since middle school. We actually grew up as next door neighbors. We’ve created memories that will last a lifetime. From our younger years to stepping into adulthood, we’ve experienced so many life lessons together. Hi! I’m Hanassah—a proud wife, mama to three amazing kids, and a lactation consultant. When I’m not working, I’m all about spending quality time with my husband and kids, working out and lifting weights, cooking up something good, enjoying the outdoors, and living that busy sports-mom life! I’ve known the bride for about two years, and her hubby is my husband’s best friend, so instantly she became family. Fun fact: she caught the bouquet at my wedding—so this love story was already written! I’ve been lucky to be part of their journey since the very beginning, and now we’re taking this love to forever, BAAABYYY!!! 😍😘😘😘

We’ve been through so much together over the years, and no matter what, we have always had each other’s backs. Donovan has always been one of the most loyal and trustworthy friends in my life. I’m truly happy to see him marry the love of his life, Timmonique, and begin this beautiful new chapter. Heyy!!! I am Jana Young. Proudly from Watts, CA. I’m a middle school math teacher who’s passionate about shaping young minds and making numbers make sense. I’m also a devoted mom of two, balancing lesson plans with real-life parenting like a pro!! Goofy, comedic, and always ready for a laugh, I bring fun into everything I do — whether I’m binge-watching The Real Housewives of Atlanta or grabbing a mic for karaoke night. Life’s too short not to enjoy it — and I make sure to have fun every step of the way! I’ve known the bride since Middle School (whew such a long time….we are getting old lol). From sharing our first day of school in middle AND high school to now - her walking down the aisle! Watching her step into this new chapter of love and marriage fills my heart with so much pride and joy. My name is Dave but Don knows me by "2 clean". I'm from South Side Richmond where Donovan and I met in high school after both of our mothers decided to drag us to the hell hole of Fresno!! There we both became good friends and eventually formed a brotherhood through trust and loyalty. I affectionately refer to Donovan as “Donoman” because when we were younger I often looked at Donoman as a superhero. My name is Da’Ron, and I was born and raised in South Berkeley. I first got to know my big brother Donovan through his other little brother Dehvin. Back in the day, we all used to play basketball together. Dehvin and I would be out there playing, and Donovan would come through to watch his brothers hoop. That’s really how our connection started. But over time, Donovan became more than just somebody watching from the sidelines. He became someone I could go to about anything. Real talk—if I ever needed advice, guidance, or just somebody to keep it honest with me, Donovan was one of those people. In fact, before my wedding, I remember going to him for advice. I asked him what he thought, what he felt about it all. And he told me something simple, but something that stuck with me. He said, “If she makes you happy, and she loves you for you, that’s what matters.” And that’s the kind of man Donovan is—someone who keeps it real, speaks from the heart, and always wants the best for the people around him. So Donovan, I just want you to know I appreciate you, I respect you, and I’m grateful to call you my big brother.

Hey y’all, I’m Crystal A. Burton! Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I’m a dancer who loves creating, teaching, and keeping nails cute on the side. I’m a full-on Disney fanatic and a proud member of the BeyHive — if there’s a soundtrack playing or a Beyoncé song on, I’m probably already choreographing in my head. I’ve known the bride for about two years, and in that time she’s become so much more than a friend — she’s family. I’ve had a front-row seat to her love story, from the laughs to the life talks to the “this is definitely the one” glow. Standing beside her as a bridesmaid is such an honor, and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate her happily ever after!

My name is Timothy Jr I was born in California lived in Compton my whole life since I was one years old I’ve known Timmonique my whole life she is my big sister I can honestly say I love her so much she has always been there for me and always been in my corner I wouldn’t trade her for anything and I am happy to call Donovan my brother in law he makes my sister so happy and that what matters in life she found her partner, her best friend, and someone to love her through rain and shine and I happy to be apart of their new chapter in life Love you both and can not wait to turn up in Mexico!!

My name is Byron Hudson. I was born on August 29, 1969, in Sacramento, California, and raised in Compton from age three into adulthood. My mother is Vivian Hudson, and my father is Rev. Leroy Brown. I’m the oldest of my siblings—Gary and Courtney on my mother’s side, and Lee, Ishmun, and Monae on my father’s side. I joined Crusade Christian Faith Center in September 1987 after graduating from Compton High. I married LaShawn Fergerson on August 7, 1993. We have two daughters, Brayonn and Branay, and one granddaughter, Dior. I began working at Cal State Dominguez Hills on February 4, 2001, starting as a custodian. Through dedication and growth, I advanced to Lead and now serve in management, overseeing all three custodial shifts. At Crusade, I’ve served as an usher, security team member, choir and praise team member, and part of the Men of Faith singing group. I’ve also acted in several plays, including Miracle Worker and A Taste of Life. I met Timmonique when she attended Optimal Christian Academy and later reconnected with her at Crusade, where she became part of my extended family. I met Donovan during a trip to Costa Rica with my niece back in 2024, and we bonded—especially during a memorable swim in the ocean during a thunderstorm. I am honored and proud to be part of the lives and union of the amazing couple, Donovan and Timmonique.
