Our love story starts in High School. The story isn't much more than boy meets girl, but what makes it special is how we never wanted to be apart after that. During the lengthy late night phone calls we realized that we'd be able to conquer any problem as long as we had each other. We jumped at the chance to share a home together, cook together, and looked forward to the rest of forever together. We filled our home with shared laughter of friends and family, and with the love of our four-legged friends. After learning the process of communication and compromise, we've become overjoyed to say yes to forever as lifelong partners.

It was Easter. It was also our 6th Anniversary. As a surprise, Donovan drove us up to Skagit County for the Tulip Festival. He ensured that my family was hidden within the crowds of people admiring the rows upon rows of flower arrangements. At each patch of flowers, Donovan had us pause to take a photo and take in the scene. After walking the fields, he took me to my favorite tulips, dropped to one knee, and told me that I was the most important person in his life and asked for my hand in marriage. He could barely get the words out before my mom was shrieking and cheering with glee. It was such a beautiful moment, I couldn't help but tear up as I said "YES!", and watched him slide the ring onto my finger. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
